THERMOLENE® stands out for its exceptional resistance to extreme temperatures and its particularly low thermal resistance. This ensures efficient heat dissipation – a critical factor, as heat losses from circuit breakers, supply lines, and terminals can quickly raise internal temperatures in the Power Distribution Box to over 45°C.
THERMOLENE® guarantees outstanding heat dissipation for optimal regulation of internal enclosure temperatures. It dissipates heat up to 50% more effectively than PE, approximately 1.5 times better than PVC or polycarbonate, and about 2.5 times better than rubber. This superior thermal conductivity efficiently channels heat away through the enclosure surface.

THERMOLENE® sets new standards in fire protection. Our specially developed material is flame-retardant and self-extinguishing – essential properties for electrical applications. It meets the strictest requirements with the highest fire protection classification “V0” according to UL94.
Designed specifically for electrical environments, THERMOLENE® also fulfills all relevant requirements of DIN EN IEC 60695. Particularly noteworthy is its outstanding glow wire flammability index (GWFI) of 960°C, highlighting its exceptional resilience and excellent fire protection characteristics. Compared to conventional materials, THERMOLENE® ensures maximum safety.
